Even though things are looking somewhat bleak for the Super Aguri Formula One team at the present moment, with the cancelation of several important pre season testing sessions, it appears that all is not lost with negotiations currently underway between the Leafield based squad and the new Portuguese racing complex that will be known as the Autodrom International do Algarve.
Speaking exclusively with AM365.com, CEO of the new state of the art complex, Paulo Pinheiro, revealed that the smallest team on the grid could very well find themselves using the new complex to their benefit in the near future with the circuit offering a very wide range of technological and practical solutions for the team to yeild the best possible results.
“We are working together with Super Aguri, in order to find a solution that could eventually suit them, in order to maximize their tests days, using our facilities, both at our track and also at our Tech Park,” Paulo Pinheiro told us. “The aim, is to use at the maximum, the relation between our Tech Park facilities, and our track, so that all the development done by the test team produces the best possible results, that's all I can tell you for now.”
