Today was the second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, the first at the Catalunya Circuit near Barcelona where seven time world champion Michael Schumacher climbed back into the cockpit alongside the teams official test driver Luca Badoer.
Michael was hard at work on the set-up of the F2004 M, the contender he will start the 2005 season with in Melbourne Australia, while the Scuderia’s official test driver concentrated on development testing of Bridgestone tyres.
Schumacher completed a total of 57 laps for the day, the quickest being in a time of 1’16”003, second fastest overall while Badoer managed 74 laps of the Spanish track, the fastest being 1’15”894, leaving him at the top of the leaderboard.
Testing continues for the team at this circuit tomorrow, with the same drivers on track.
