Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer scored the best time of the last testing day at the Circuit de Catalunya on Sunday, the Italian driver making it three from three after being on top of the leaderboard on each of Italian teams’ three testing days this week.
Luca’s best time of the week was a 1:15.446, which he obtained on the final day. Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher recorded the second best time for the third day in succession with a 1:15.973. The only other driver on duty was former world champion Jacques Villeneuve who was busy pounding the tarmac for Sauber. The Canadian driver completed a total of 79 laps, with a best time of 1:18.108, despite an off track excursion at the end of the day.
This was the final day of action for the next two weeks with Formula one teams not returning to the Circuit de Catalunya until the 15th of February 15th. From the 15th to the 17th, Ferrari, Renault, Williams, McLaren, Red Bull Racing, Toyota and Jordan will be at the track.
