After a storming start to the 2009 Formula One championship season, Brawn Grand prix has lost their deputy technical director, Joerg Zander, who has been with the Brackley based squad for the past two seasons, meaning he had significant input into the new BGP001 that ahs won six of the possible eight races contested so far this year.
It appears as if Zander actually left the team on the Friday of their home race at the Silverstone circuit in England, however it is not quite clear as to why he stepped down or where he will be going from here....
"Joerg contributed significantly to our success so far this season for which we thank him and wish him all the best for the future," a spokeswoman for Brawn told Autosport. |
