According to reports on the BBC, India’s Karun Chandhok has secured a seat with the Campos Meta team to race alongside Brazil’s Bruno Senna in the upcoming 2010 Formula One championship.

However, when speaking with newly appointed team boss, Colin Kolas, the only response was that the team would be making an announcement on their second driver in the very near future.

There is another candidate for the role as number two at the Spanish based squad and that is Argentine racer, Jose Maria Lopez, who has already done a deal with USF1, however with the American based squad on the brink of extinction, the young driver is hunting for a replacement drive.
