Cosworth sold?
According to reports in Autosport, Cosworth has been sold to Champ Car owner Kevin Kalkhoven with the official confirmation that the engine company will be able to continue its supply of engines to the Formula One series due to be announced in the near future. The deal looks set to secure all projects Cosworth are currently involved in, including supplying the entire Champ Car field, more than likely the main reason the series boss has made this enormous decision. This would be great news for Minardi, who at this stage are looking at running their 2003 chassis and engines from the 2001 season so that they can continue in the 2005 F1 championship. Jordan meanwhile, is looking at gaining supply from Toyota, but if that falls through, at least Cosworth would be there to catch them.
