It was the second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro on Wednesday where once again the Italian champions were busy working at two tracks. Carrying on with his scheduled program, Luca Badoer was busy at Jerez de la Frontera, testing tyres and new components.
The Scuderia’s official test driver completed a total of 94 laps, the quickest being a 1’19”375. The session will continue tomorrow when seven-time champion Michael Schumacher will take to the Spanish track.
Meanwhile, over at Fiorano, Ferrari’s private test track, Andrea Bertolini continued working on the development of new electronic solutions, completing a total of 105 laps (39 of them on the short version of the track.) His best overall time was a 57”451 and this brought the Fiorano test to an end.
