Don’t forget to come along and meet Giancarlo Fisichella!
It’s been a long winter for Formula One fans but the end is in sight with the opening round of the 2004 championship season set to get underway next week as in just five short days the cars will be roaring out of pit lane at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne Australia for their first official practice session of the year.
Fans flock to see the new cars in all their new livery and to hear the roar of the engines as they come to life in earnest after such a long break, but there is more to the event than the on track excitement, as fans search Melbourne for even the briefest glimpse of a driver.
As part of the lead up to the 2004 Australian Grand Prix, fans will have the chance to meet Sauber Petronas driver Giancarlo Fisichella. The Italian driver will be taking part in a special ‘Meet and Greet’ organized by The Motorsport Shop in Sydney and will take place at the Melbourne Crown Casino’s “Festival of Crown”.
The event is open to family, friends and fans of Formula One and will take place at 6 pm on Saturday night, the 6th of March, 2004. Photos of the driver will be available at the event, so come along and have Giancarlo personally autograph one for you!
