It seems like a lifetime ago, but it was just over two months ago now when the terrible accident in Budapest changed the course of Felipe Massa’s life. However, the Brazilian has now taken another step in his program to improve his condition - as a driver that is - because as a man he has been 100 percent for quite some time.
Felipe got back behind the wheel of a racing vehicle yesterday morning in Granja Viana, where he drove a kart. Accompanied by his personal doctor Dino Altman, the Ferrari driver drove a couple of laps, before heavy rain interrupted this first session.
Felipe will have more opportunities in the next days before he'll fly to Maranello, where, the week after the Singapore GP, he will use the static simulator at the Gestione Sportiva. |
