Ferrari is setting up the final details regarding the preparation for the fourth and final test session before the 2010 season opening event in Bahrain next month, starting today at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona. During the test program Fernando Alonso will sit behind the wheel today and tomorrow, while Felipe Massa will take over on Saturday.

The team will use a new chassis, with the number 283. The cars the Scuderia will have available at the start of the season will therefore be complete: chassis 281 debuted in Valencia, followed by number 282 during the second session in Jerez de la Frontera.

There is lots of tension ahead of the last test session: maybe this will be the test when all the teams will be present on track in their definite form for the first race and maybe now we’ll finally get an idea about the real performance on track, because this will also be the final chance to test with little fuel loads on board with the new qualifying in sight.
