During this meeting it was announced that the FFSA will support Jules’ career, who is one of the great talents among the young drivers who have emerged over the last two years.

The French ART Grand Prix driver and reigning F3 Euro Series Champion arrived in Bahrain on Thursday to take part in the GP2 Asia Series finale, the winter edition of the Championship that will kick off on the Catalan circuit in Montmelò on the weekend of 9 May.

During the press conference everybody underlined how the GP2 Series, launched in the year 2005 and emerged from the International Formula 3000, is one of the best schools and stepping stone to arrive in the pinnacle of motorsport - Formula 1 – also thanking FIA for the great work done so far.

Bianchi, the young hope and now part of the Ferrari Driver Academy with one test held in Jerez last December, has a long-term contract with the manufacturer from Maranello, which also involves him in work with the Scuderia’s new simulator.
