According to reports in the American press, former third driver for the Jordan Grand Prix team, Timo Glock, is hoping for a return to the pinnacle of Motorsports after spending the 2005 season racing in the ChampCar series.
During his time in F1, Timo stepped up to the plate at the end of the season and contested four GP’s for the Silverstone based squad, impressing many by his performances in an underachieving contender. However, the 23 year old was left out in the cold this year when Tiago Monteiro and Narain Karthikeyan filled the two seats, sending his Stateside.
Now, after securing the Rookie of the Year honour at the recent Australian ChampCar race, Timo still has his eye on making an F1 return.
"We have to see what's happening with F1,” he told Speed. “I expect to have it all sorted out in three or four weeks." |
