The GP2 series has announced that they will be revealing their line up for the our inaugural championship later this morning, and as well as the eagerly anticipated team line-up, they will also be announcing the GP2 series weekend format and 2005 calendar.
Due to the overwhelming number of high quality and credible initial applications received, the organizers have filled 12 allocated team positions which were made available for the inaugural season, and may yet extend the field to encompass a 13th squad.
The tenure of the GP2 field will last for a minimum of three years, which means that the GP2 series will boast a grid of at least 24 cars until 2008.
