After a five week break from testing over the summer, the Honda Racing F1 Team began a three-day test at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Italy this week when test drivers Anthony Davidson and James Rossiter took to the Italian track, home to next weekend’s Italian Grand Prix, to begin their scheduled program.
Anthony worked through an aerodynamic evaluation in the morning session followed by an evaluation of the tyre options for the Italian Grand Prix and a further short aero program, the team’s man Friday completing a total of 101 laps for the day to finish fifth overall.
Meanwhile, fellow tester James Rossiter spent the day focusing on tyre work also for the Italian Grand Prix, completing a total of 114 laps in total to finish ninth.
Regular drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello will take over the driving responsibilities at Monza today. |
