It appears as if the Honda Racing team are gearing up to go testing in t eh coming weeks ahead of the 2009 season opener at the Albert park circuit in Melbourne Australia, despite not finding a serious buyer for the Brackley based squad.

Reports on Autosport indicate that the team have been instructed to get their new 2009 challenger ready to test, more than likely at the final session of the pre season in Barcelona.

The British magazine reports that the final serious bidder has been informed that they were not successful in  purchasing the team, leaving a management buyout by Ross Brawn as the only remaining option to keep the team going.
