After concluding the opening half of the Honda Racing team’s final pre season testing session at the Bahrain International circuit on Saturday, British driver Jenson Button flew back to London where he will take part in the official presentation of the Brackley based squad’s new colours for 2007.
Up until now, the team have been running in an unbranded black charger, and if the picture released on the team’s official website is anything to go by, the new livery will also be devoid of any sponsor logos, instead it will be painted in Google Earth colours in order to help raise environmental awareness.
However, it is thought that the drivers overalls and the team’s motorhome will still boast advertiser logos as normally expected. Today’s unveiling at the Natural History Museum in London will also mark the first time an unbranded car has hit the Formula One grid. |
