Williams driver Kazuki Nakajima is gearing up for his second full season in the pinnacle of Motorsports and after securing just half the points his teammate Nico Rosberg did in 2008, the young Japanese racer knows that the year ahead will be crucial for his career.
"It's a crucial year for me," Nakajima said. "At the moment it's too early to talk about the car so I just need to concentrate on myself and my performance. I need really to put in a better performance in terms of all the aspects.”
“There will be more pressure but after a full year of experience I'm sure I can do much better than last year. More consistency, more understanding of the car. Most of the tracks will be a second time for me, so that will be even better."
Once again Nakajima will be running a Toyota powered car and will partner young German driver Nico Rosberg. |
