As Michael Schumacher prepares to make his return to the pinnacle of Motorsports in the upcoming 2010 Formula One championship season, there are those that are happy about his comeback move and some that are not so happy, however, they are few and far between.
Most fans around the world are fully anticipating his return even if they are not current fans of the 41 year old seven time world champion, the expected battles ahead adding to the excitement that comes prior to any new season, and even his colleagues on the track, new and old, can’t wait for the season to begin.
USF1, one of the new teams on the 2010 grid, has already congratulated Michael on his decision to return, hailing his ability and motivation, believing it to be an honour to race alongside him in their debut season.
“Everyone at USF1 would like to congratulate Michael Schumacher on his return to F1 in 2010 with Mercedes. His decision is not only fantastic news for F1 in general but also for the statisticians in particular: having re-written the history books over the past decade or so, Michael, 41, is now in the hunt for his eighth World Championship,” they said on their official website.
“Even if Michael proves slightly slower than today's Young Guns – and that's a big "if" - none of us should under-estimate his motivation and managerial genius. Welcome back Michael: it will be an honour to share the grid with you.” |
