BMW WilliamsF1 driver Ralf Schumacher finished day two at the Jerez circuit in Southern Spain at the top of the timesheets, the German racer completing 80 laps to finish a fraction of a second faster than the McLaren of third driver Alexander Wurz.
The top five finishers were all within a tenth of a second with Renault test driver Franck Montagny third, Pedro de la Rosa fourth for McLaren and British American Racing’s man Friday Anthony Davidson fifth.
Jarno Trulli continued his test for Toyota, the Italian once again having a few issues, this time losing the rear wing of the TF104B causing an off track excursion. Thankfully there was no damage and the driver was able to continue. Luca Badoer continued Ferrari’s test and he too had an off track moment with no damage done.
