ART Grand Prix’s champion in the F3 Euro Series, Jules Bianchi, is about to get his first taste of Formula One when he climbs behind the wheel of the Ferrari F60 at the Jerez circuit in Southern Spain on the first of next month alongside three other up and coming young talents from the Italian F3 Championship.
The test is a reward for his exemplary performances, not just this year but over the course of the past three years, and like many other young racers, to get the opportunity is a dream come true. However, that said, Jules is fully aware that the upcoming test will not see him start down a different path next season with his feet firmly planted on the ground and his sights clearly on his debut season in the upcoming 2010 GP2 Championship.
Also, by taking part in the young driver test in December, Jules will become the first Frenchman to climb about a car from Maranello since Jean Alesi and the former Ferrari racer is thrilled at the chance given to the country’s young superstar.
Italians Daniel Zampieri, Marco Zioli and Mexican Pablo Sanchez Lopez will join the session on the final day of the test. |
