Ferrari driver Felipe Massa arrived on Tuesday in Qatar, bordering Bahrain, ahead of taking part in the first race of the Formula 1 Championship this coming weekend.
The Brazilian driver, who will kick off 2010 on Friday in the first official test session on the Sakhir circuit, took part in an even organised by Shell, the Scuderia Ferrari’s long-time technical partner, after a short meeting with the local press, where he spoke about the new refuelling rules for the races, followed by a special pit stop test in an area set up for the occasion.
Before leaving Doha, Felipe also visited the Ferrari showroom in Qatar, which had been opened on April on Pearl Island, meeting guests and fans for a long photo and autograph session. |
