Monza is the key for Ferrari
The upcoming Monza round beckons for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team and if the home race is always something special for the Maranello based squad, this year’s edition will be very important in terms of keeping alive the hope of fighting for both the drivers and constructors titles right to the end of the year.

Everyone in the team is aware that if more ground is lost this coming weekend, then it could compromise any chance of a comeback in the final five fly away events. Therefore there is a strong desire, from the team as well as the drivers, to make up for the Spa setback with the aim being to be in the fight for a victory at Monza, something which has not happened since 2006.

However, if this fails to happen, and Red Bull and McLaren continue to bound away at the front, then the Scuderia has revealed that they will stop any further development on their current car and begin work in earnest on their 2011 model instead.

“If Monza should go really badly for us and Red Bull’s lead continues to increase, then on Monday we will start putting all of our staff and resources to use on next season’s car," team boss Stefano Domenicali was quoted as saying to 'Corriere dello Sport'
