Despite earlier reports that Ross Brawn was looking to secure Ferrari engines for the Honda Racing Formula one team, as Honda refuse to supply the power units needed to compete in the F1 championship, Scuderia team boss Stefano Domenicali has basically ruled out any possibility of doing so at this point in time.
“As far as delivering engines to Honda is concerned this possibility is almost 0 at the moment,” Domenicali said at the launch of the new F60.
With a Ferrari power supply the Brackley based squad would be a more attractive investment to possible buyers, however they are not the only engine manufacturer in the series meaning that Brawn and his colleagues will now need to look further afield. |
