After three years in IndyCar Series and Superleague Formula, Franck Perera will make his return to the GP2 Series this coming weekend when the former DAMS driver will take to the Nurburgring circuit along with the rest of the GP2 grid racing for the DPR team.
"I'm really happy about the chance Andrè Herck and DPR offered me to come back in GP2 after three years," he told 422race.com. "I'll give my best to be competitive already in my first race, to bring the experience I made in several categories to the team and my team-mate Michael Herck."
Perera, former Toyota Young Drivers Programme driver, will partner Romanian driver, son of the team’s owner, replacing Giacomo Ricci who had been with the David Price Racing team from the start of the 2009 season. |
