Schumacher happy with interim Ferrari
After testing the modified 2004 Ferrari, the F2004M, at the Barcelona circuit over the weekend, seven time world champion Michael Schumacher has declared himself happy with the way things are progressing, however that said the German knows that the real test won’t come until the first weekend in March. “It's good, but how good we will only tell in Melbourne when we have real comparison,”he told Autosport. “Because at the moment we all have uncertainties as to what the other teams are doing, as in what tyres they are running.” Teams have been busy testing the durability of their 2005 engines, as they will be forced to last for two Grand Prix’s this season instead of just the one in 2004. Predictions have been that this will cause a loss of power as a result, but Michael doesn’t feel that it is that much different at all. “It's not that much different, except that it lasts longer. We're quite happy with reliability so far.”
