Bad weather continued to plague the Scuderia Ferrari team on Friday when test driver Luca Badoer took to the Fiorano circuit to carry out the shakedown of the cars destined for the opening round of the 2004 season in Melbourne Australia next weekend.
With temperatures that didn’t rise above 2 degrees, while rain and snow falling throughout the session, the Italian driver took to the Fiorano circuit with three F2004’s at his disposal. He carried out stints in all three cars, completing a total of 25 laps, 16 of which were on the short version of the track, recording a best overall time of 1’03"887.
In the morning, Badoer also completed some practice starts at the wheel of an F2003-GA and now it’s time to head down under!
