It was reported recently that the teams were planning to host a joint new car launch in an attempt to help keep costs down as each event on its own comes at a great expense, however, it has now been decided that the plan will not go ahead and teams will once again host their own individual launches.

It seems that there were a few teams that would not have had their new cars ready for unveiling at the planned end of January date while others were concerned that with the venue chosen being Spain that Ferrari and Fernando Alonso would overshadow everyone else.

Therefore we will now have to await news of each team’s individual launch in the new year.
