After conducting three days worth of testing at the Bahrain International Circuit this week, the Scuderia Toro Rosso team has finally confirmed their 2007 driver line up with confirmation that 2006 racer, Scott Speed will be racing alongside Tonio Liuzzi for another season.

When the team launched their 2007 contender recently, Liuzzi was the only driver named, with team boss Gerhard Berger stating they needed further time to confirm their number two. While other drivers were mentioned along with the seat, including former Spyker racer, Tiago Monteiro, negotiations with Speed were ongoing.

“Scuderia Toro Rosso is happy to confirm that Scott Speed will once again race for the team this season,” they said in a statement today.
