Stefan GP sends equipment to Bahrain!

In what seems like an insane move, Stefan Grand Prix has revealed that they have now become the first team in the history of Formula One to send a 40 foot container full of equipment to the 2010 season opening race in Bahrain. While this may not seem like a history making move, they are the first ever team to do this, WITHOUT having an entry in the championship!

“On Friday 29th January we showed our spirit, and how serious our management and our employees are when they say that we are pushing to get the entry, and that they want to race in 2010 season,” a statement read on their website. “Anyway we are proud of us, and on our power of will, so we will keep going and show some new people belong in F1.”

What they actually hope to achieve by doing this is anyone’s guess really, with the 2010 grid already accounted for. While there may be some clouds of doubt, put in place by Bernie Ecclestone himself, in regard to the USF1 and Campos Meta entries, it would appear impossible that this team would be chosen to race in their place.
