Just a few hours after the official launch of the new Williams BMW FW27, the car had a successful rollout.
Nick Heidfeld was at the wheel of the BMW WilliamsF1 Team's 2005 challenger when it took to the track at Valencia's 'Circuit de la Comunitat' for the first time. The German completed several trouble-free shakedown laps at the 4.005 kilometre circuit.
On Tuesday, the BMW WilliamsF1 Team commences an extensive test programme at the same location, in order to continuing preparations for the forthcoming FIA Formula One World championship.
