Sutil staying put

2007 Spyker racer Adrian Sutil has ruled out a move to McLaren in 08 to partner former teammate, Lewis Hamilton. Sutil’s name has been thrown into the mix after he made a flippant remark that maybe one day he could end up in the same team as Hamilton after the young Brit stated that Adrian was on his list of preferred partners after Fernando Alonso left the team several weeks ago.

However, speaking to journalists in Germany recently, Adrian confirmed that he had no intention foe laving Spyker, now Force India, as he had a valid contract for 2008 and intended to honour it.

Saying that however, he also suggested that his new partner could come down to a final choice between  former Honda tester Christian Klien and 2007 Toro Rosso racer, Tonio Liuzzi as the team does not need to employ a pay driver….

"I have a valid contract with Force India for 2008 and I am not looking elsewhere. The team, now under new owners, is in the situation to choose an experienced driver and not to look for a pay driver. In my personal opinion I think it will be decided between Klien and Liuzzi. Both did an excellent job recently in testing in Barcelona. Both deserve to be in F1 whereas others who are just having money should not race there."

Former Toyota test driver and Super Aguri racer, Franck Montagny, is also in line for the position with a test scheduled for next week.
