Ferrari driver Felipe Massa is more than happy with the newly launched F60, the championship contender he is hoping will carry him to his first ever world drivers crown in 2009 while also defending the Maranello based squad’s constructors crown.
Massa was the man honoured with the new cars maiden run on the Mugello circuit on Monday morning and he was thrilled with the opportunity to do so. Also, the man that narrowly missed out on the 2008 title, was surprised by the new car, especially as he was expecting it to be radically different due to al the new rules and regulations.
"I feel emotional but I'm also happy to take it out on track for the first time. With all the new rules I was expecting a different type of car, like 10 years ago with big wings so I was surprised. The new F60 seems tiny, very compact and cute."
Cute, now that’s a new way of describing a Formula One car…. |
