Japanese motorsport fans gathered at the Mount Fuji circuit on Sunday were Toyota held their annual end of season festival, however, this year’s event had a slightly different tone as the Japanese engine giant bid a final farewell to their Formula One program.

Toyota, who contested their final race at the Abu Dhabi circuit in early November, took the opportunity to show off their two 2009 contenders in front of loyal fans as they took to the track for one final time after Toyota President, Akio Toyoda, apologized for not meeting the fans expectations in the world of Formula One.....

"We are sorry that we could not meet your expectations in F1 racing,” he said.

Later in the day Toyoda climbed behind the wheel of the company’s new 2010 two seater sports car, the Lexus LFA.
