On their way to Melbourne for next week's Australian Grand Prix, the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team drivers, Jarno Trulli and Fernando Alonso stopped off today in Tokyo for a press conference to launch the 2004 season.
The two drivers attended a press conference to reveal the livery of the new R24, and also the launch the Mild Seven brand image and concept to the Japanese media.
The 'Blue Wind' symbol first appeared on the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team race cars at the 2003 Japanese Grand Prix and, since then, has been rolled out across the entire Mild Seven product range. This identity has been designed to reflect a modern, urban image.
During the press conference, the drivers both expressed optimism for the season ahead after a strong winter test programme, and now head for Melbourne to begin preparations for next weekend's race.
