After reaching their verdict on the Heikki Kovalainen refuelling incident that saw Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari engulfed in a flash fire, the stewards of the course at the recent Brazilian Grand Prix reviewed the footage of the Sutil Trulli incident on lap one that saw both drivers and innocent bystander Fernando Alonso retire from the race.

While they deemed the accident itself a racing incident, Jarno Trulli was reprimanded and fined ten thousand dollars for his confrontation with Adrian Sutil after the accident but before returning to his pit garage.

Trulli blamed Sutil for the accident and was very aggressive toward the Force India driver, ignoring instructions from marshalls to go in one direction in order to get to the driver and make it well known to all and sundry that he was far from being impressed with the situation.
