Former Toyota Formula One racer Jarno Trulli underwent a test in the NASCAR series earlier this week, however he is still unsure about just what he will be doing int eh 2010 season, After the new Lotus team announced that they had signed their first driver, thoughts turned to Trulli who was said to be in negotiations with the Malaysian team, however he has since denied that he has signed anything at this stage and doesn’t plan to until after the coming weekend at the earliest.
The coming weekend will see the Mount Fuji circuit in Japan play host to the Toyota Motorsport Festival, an event that will signal the end of the Japanese company’s Motorsport season. Jarno, along with Kamui Kobayashi, will be present for the festivities and it will officially bring his commitment to the team to an end. After that, he believes he will be free to make a decision regarding his 2010 plans.
"I haven't signed yet. I'm in talks with several teams and soon I will take my decision,” he told Autosport. "You never know in life. I keep my door open, but definitely I'm dealing closely with some teams." |
