Trulli wishes Ralf well

Ralf Schumacher announced his decision to leave the Panasonic Toyota Racing team some weeks ago now, the German racer deciding that it was the right time to move on in his career and at this stage there is still no confirmation on his plans for the 2008 Formula One championship.

Ralf was a part of the Toyota team for some time, partnering Jarno Trulli for three years, the longest time Trulli has had the same teammate during his time in the pinnacle of Motorsports and he has wished the younger Schumacher all the best in his future endeavours.

“Ralf has been my teammate for three years at Toyota and I don’t think I have ever had the same teammate for so long in my Formula 1 career,” Trulli said. “There is always competition between teammates at any team in Formula 1 and you always want to beat your teammate but I had a very fair battle with Ralf. We both had the same aim of helping the team make progress and we worked together to develop the car. I wish him all the best in the future.”
