New Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso topped the timesheets for the third and final day here at the Valencia circuit in Spain today. The Spanish racer completed 127 laps of the track to finish over half a second ahead of Pedro de la Rosa in the Sauber.
Third fastest and another half a second back was Michael Schumacher for Mercedes Grand Prix, followed by Jaime Alguersuari for Toro Rosso. Jenson Button was fifth for McLaren followed Renault’s new man, Vitaly Petrov while Nico Hülkenberg rounded out the times for Williams.
