Despite the Red Bull Racing team looking to be lightening quick in the opening two rounds of the 2010 championship after Sebastian Vettel took pole position for both the Bahrain and Australian Grand Prix’, the Milton Keynes based squad has just eighteen points to their credit, making them fifth in the constructors championship.
With Sebastian Vettel suffering spark plug failure in Bahrain followed by brake failure at Albert Park, Mark Webber, who started second on the grid for his home GP, piloted the only Red Bull to finish both events, however, he only has six points to his credit, four from round one and two from Australia.
Despite this, he stands firmly by the team and accepts that there are good days, and bad days....
“As a team, we live by the sword and we die by the sword,” says Mark. “We have great days together and we have bad days together; this was one of the latter. F1 is about adapting to the conditions and Jenson did the best job.” |
