Webber, 2006 WDC?
Former F1 commentator Murray Walker has predicted great things for Australia’s Mark Webber after it was announced that the Jaguar driver would be racing for BMW WilliamsF1 for the next few years, including a world crown! However, even though he thinks the 27 year old Aussie could be the third Formula One driver from down under to steal the crown, Walker doesn’t think it will be in his debut season with the Grove based squad, instead he thinks just the odd race win is on the cards for 05, but if his optimism is correct, watch out for Mark in 2006! “If the car is right, Mark could win a race or races next year," Walker said. “Being extremely optimistic, I would hope that Mark Webber in a Williams could win the world championship in 2006."
