Webber gets to work!
Following a few installation laps on Tuesday new BMW WilliamsF1 driver, Mark Webber, made his official debut with the Grove based squad at the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona on Wednesday, the Aussie racer completing a total of 59 laps of the Spanish track as he familiarized himself with the FW26. The session saw the official start of the team's preparations for the 2005 season, with weather conditions setting the perfect backdrop for the day. As well as familiarizing himself with the car, Mark also carried out some set-up work and ended up posting a best time of 1:15.387 minutes. Test driver Antonio Pizzonia was also on duty, however due to technical problems, the Brazilian completed just six laps around the Spanish track. With the problems now resolved, Antonio is looking forward to enjoying an extensive run in the FW26 on Thursday.
